FINDING A WIFE

One of the greatest quest of the young men today is choosing the right mate for marriage. The fear of choosing the wrong person has rendered so many young men who are capable of marrying still unmarried. Others has also denied themselves from marrying because they think is safe to be single than to be living in hell here on earth just because of a woman.

I believe this frustration can be overcome if we understand that men are to find a person who is a “WIFE” not just a lady.  

• Finding a wife goes beyond finding a beautiful and outgoing lady.

• Finding a wife goes beyond finding a cute and smart lady.

• Finding a wife also goes beyond finding someone from your cultural background or religion.

• Finding a wife goes beyond the person’s educational background, financial statues or profession.

• Finding a wife goes beyond finding a prayer warrior or a spiritual person.

• Though all these are important factors to be considered, but you must first consider if that person is a wife.

WHO THEN IS A WIFE?

WordWeb dictionary defines a wife as” A married woman; a man's partner in marriage”.

According to the definition, a wife is a married person. So, what do I mean by finding a wife even  before you  marry her.1 Does that mean you need to find a married person? No not at all.

The scriptures say

“Whoso find a wife find a good thing, and obtain favour of the Lord”         Proverbs 18:22

“When a man has taken a wife, and married her,………”         Deuteronomy 24:1

A wife must be found before marriage.
